Built for your line
The YM-250 applies hot-melt adhesive to top and bottom flaps, producing a permanent, tamper-resistant seal that pressure-sensitive tape cannot match. It is specified for wax-coated or moisture-resistant board, for freezer and cold-storage lines, and for products that must resist pilferage. A dual-station glue system maintains throughput even during pattern changes, and the melt tank is sized for high-grammage applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why use hot-melt instead of tape for cold-storage lines?
Tape adhesion degrades below roughly 5 °C, while formulated hot-melt remains secure at freezing temperatures. The YM-250 is frequently specified for freezer and cold-chain operations for this reason.
What maintenance does the melt tank require?
The tank is designed for weekly dross cleaning and monthly calibration checks. A low-melt alarm prevents charring, and spare nozzles are quick-release for pattern changes.
