A high-mix bottling hall ran 40+ case formats through a single sealing point. Manual changeover consumed 20 minutes per SKU and caused nightly OT, while misaligned tape heads produced costly retapes.
Two YM-220 self-adaptive random case sealers with recipe memory were installed in a redundant pair. Case size is now measured automatically and sealing heads reposition in 0.3 s, with the second machine taking over during maintenance.
