The YM-380 drop-type case packer guides jars, cans and rigid containers into open cases using a servo-controlled drop grid. Drop height is programmed per SKU to eliminate shatter risk, and the grid design provides positive guidance even for taper-walled jars. This is the most cost-effective packing architecture for rigid containers, and its mechanical simplicity keeps maintenance cost low over a 15-year life.

Yes. The YM-380 programs drop height per SKU and uses a positive-guide drop grid, which is the industry-standard approach for glass jars and rigid containers. Glass breakage rates on installed lines are consistently below 0.05%.
The pattern grid is sized per product. Changing grids takes under 10 minutes, and the drop-height recipe for each diameter is stored in the HMI for instant recall.
