The YM-450 side-loading case packer pushes product collations horizontally through the case side, delivering higher pack density than top-loading for thin, flat or flexible products. It is the standard choice for pouches, tea boxes, trays, and multi-pack sleeves where top-loading would require oversized cases. Servo pusher motion and case timing ensure scuff-free loading at up to 14 cases/min.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is side-loading better for pouches than top-loading?

Pouches are flexible and rarely stack neatly through a top drop. Side-loading pushes a fixed collation through the case side, which gives a denser pack and avoids pouch migration inside the case.

Can the YM-450 feed directly from a flow wrapper?

Yes. The infeed is designed to accept collations directly from flow-wrappers, cartoners or manual lanes, with servo timing handled automatically.
